Sweet. Stars. Was anyone expecting that level of savagery at this last full moon? Let me tell you, my kittens, I most certainly was not.

It all seemed fairly peaceful for about... I don't know, a third of the time? ShadowClan seemed to be doing fair well, had some new apprentices join the fold, some good stuff, though if you ask me, it looked like Vulturestar was trying to get a rise out of ThunderClan's Doestar. But that wily old gal wasn't having it! ThunderClan also seemed to be faring alright, all well and good. It sounded as though both of them were aiming to amp up their border security, but if you ask me, it just sounded like all that tense mumbo jumbo. WindClan, with Claystar at their head once more, seemed to be doing just fine, with some new little ones running about the moors! Sad to say that it's a breath of fresh air whenever someone has good news to share.

That's when things got a little rocky, my friends. Or, shall I say, spicy? Teaselstar announced that SkyClan had lost a warrior, and then went on to voice some pretty serious accusations against Koistar and RiverClan. I mean, wow! Koistar definitely had some shade to throw right back, and took some pretty big personal jabs at the SkyClan leader. She didn't even get to finish her spiel before the rabble in the crowd got to be too much. Leaders and deputies did their best to contain the outrage, but sometimes, there's just no stopping these things! Everyone was fairly riled up, I'd say.

StarClan seemed to take notice for sure, though, and the Gathering ended pretty quick when a storm rustled up everyone's fur. Or, rather, dragged everyone's fur down with some sopping wet rain! Everyone headed on home, but that had definitely been one fiery Gathering to remember! StarClan didn't seem to like the bickering. But I'll tell you something, my kittens, I kind of did.

Everything's beginning to kick into high-gear, and we're sure everyone is ready for some tensions to break. Here are some events we're fairly sure are in everyone's futures:

☛ For all Clans alike, it sounds as though everyone's preparing for something. All Clans should be ready for meetings between current and former allies alike, for some interesting and perhaps tense discussions. Keep an eye and ear out from your leaders about these encounters over the next two weeks!
☛ Medicine cats, we'll still be having a medicine cat meeting this weekend! It'll be taking place on Saturday evening at 7 EST, so we hope you can make it!
☛ WindClan! There is a big transition of power happening in your Clan. Keep tuning in for developments regarding this new transition and stay on guard! Who knows what might be happening in the rest of the forest?

After the Gathering, storms and consistent rains have been popping up, and the lower parts of the forest are beginning to see the effects. Prey's getting a little harder to find for SkyClan and ThunderClan. Herbs are still doing pretty well everywhere, if you know where to look.

Everyone, please see below for information regarding our mass RP-wide event happening this weekend!


Lightning strikes. This past Gathering looked as though it were a flashpoint. Are more on the way? Here's some ideas for roleplaying sessions this moon!


☛ En masse training sessions. Whether you're an apprentice or a warrior, it never hurts to spruce up your skills as a Clan cat. Perhaps some groups can go out to help each other out and give some pointers!
☛ Border guarding. Maybe it doesn't feel like it's enough to just have frequent patrols; guards could potentially be posted along certain portions of your Clan's borders. Maybe bring a friend!
☛ Weather-related incidents. With storms becoming more frequent as newleaf goes on and begins to heat up for greenleaf, it's possible that some Clans may have some weather-related problems pop up. (However, please remember to not do anything that might potentially affect the territory or injure a large amount of cats without your leader's permission/consulting with them first, just so we know what's going on!)
☛ Prey hoarding. One never knows when prey might become a rarity in a territory. Hunting patrols are never a bad idea!


We wanted to thank absolutely everyone for auditioning/applying for a staff position here in TFA! Admins/leaders are currently in the process of making their selections for Clan helpers from the auditions we've already received. And special congratulations and welcome to yes, who was selected for global helper! For those who don't know, Tahari was actually the one who designed and made this amazing website that you see here before you, long before the roleplay even opened. Much thanks to him, and welcome to the team! Once we make all of our final selections, icons will be added to our staff bar for everyone.

RiverClan will likely be opening up auditions for a new medicine cat within the next week. Please keep an eye out, and no bothering ☠ʀᴀʙʙɪᴛʙᴏɴᴇs☠ about them, please! We're currently in the process of discussing these auditions and how they should be handled.

For all high ranks, please note that very shortly after this weekend's event, we will have to have another HR planning session to figure out where to go from where this weekend leaves us. We haven't planned beyond on purpose for reasons that will be revealed after the event. We want to try and have it next week before the next Gathering! Let's get together and find out when everyone's available.


After some discussion, it has been decided that our mass roleplay event will be taking place on Sunday, July 16th! We understand that some who are only available on Saturday might be frustrated, but looking at the numbers, it looks like a larger number of people either preferred Sunday outright, said that any days would work, or listed Sunday as one of their two days of availability. In addition, it's been discovered that Sunday is also a much easier day for staff/leaders to be able to attend. We haven't nailed down a specific time yet, but rest assured that it will probably begin sometime between 5-7 p.m. EST! We hope people are ready for a fun and exciting night. Are you, and your characters, prepared?
