Well, all I have to say is that the next time you swear to the stars, you'd better be watching your rear to make sure the stars aren't there themselves to hold you to your word! Goodness gracious me, that was one kerfuffle of a Gathering, hm? I'm not sure anyone knew what to make of it!

You see, not even the leaders got to really take charge. There was a new face, though! Did you notice that Claystar must have stepped down as leader in WindClan? Grassstar has taken his place as the next leader of the moors, and goodness me, did she know how to make an entrance! Before any of the other leaders could get into the spotlight, she took the reins and announced that WindClan had a prophecy to share. My, oh my, what a way to start things off. Sheepleap, that lovely sweet old gal, had this to say:


How about that, hm? Sounds rather grim, doesn't it? Certainly gave me the shivers! But we're not the only ones that got to have a say, now were we? Because you will just not believe what happened next!

The stars came alive to speak for themselves! I've definitely never seen anything like it, and I don't think any of the living cats at Fourtrees had either! Gracious me, did the dead have a lot to say. Which is ironic, since they're... you know, dead. Turns out there's a LOT of conflict up in the skies right now, kittens, because it felt to me as though none of those old cats could agree on anything! Their biggest point of argument? Was the prophecy sent to Sheepleap a fake? Spice all around! Who even knows if StarClan even has any control anymore? Their argument got so fierce that even the stars silenced themselves!

Who knows when they'll start talking again? I don't know about you kittens, but I'm certainly shaken! Who knows what's in store?

Things have been relatively slow these past week, but never fret! While there's more to be said about this in the OOC section, take a look at some things that could be happening this upcoming week for your Clans!

☛ ShadowClan, it seems you may have some unwelcome guests on your territory. Is it possible that trouble could be arising in the marshes? Keep an eye/ear out for some interesting happenings this week!
☛ For other Clans, always keep an ear out for potential encounters with other Clans. SkyClan and ThunderClan, does your alliance still stand? It may be time you find out.
☛ It looks as though SkyClan's discovered the booby traps that RiverClan placed on the fallen tree leading into their territory! Looks like it may be time to increase defenses, or for a confrontation to straighten things out.
☛ Hm, it seems as though a WindClanner has a big secret. WindClan, keep your nose to the air and ear to the ground, maybe some lucky active Clanmate will get to discover this secret! It may very well spell some trouble on the horizon for the Clan... and perhaps, the forest as a whole?


Silence is deafening. StarClan has gone silent, and in its wake, there are secrets to be revealed and uneasy peace to be enjoyed. But for how long can it last?


☛ Border patrols. The forest has seemed pretty quiet as of late. May just want to make sure that neighbors aren't up to causing any trouble, yeah?
☛ Bonding with Clanmates. Notice something that another Clanmate likes? Why don't you give it a try? After all, who knows what may come between you and those that you live with?
☛ Herb collecting. You never know when the herbs will come in handy, after all. Medicine cats can always send warriors out to collect basic additions to their remedies? After the battle, goodness knows a lot of stores have gotten low. Who knows what kind of trouble that might cause?


Deepest apologies for not having put this newsletter up sooner, my loves! The newsletter should come out early the week after the Gathering, but a part of the reason for this newsletters' delay was an uncertainty of where our plot was headed. After our most recent high ranks meeting, we've chosen a clear path for TFA based on the suggestions and ideas of some amazing active members, and we can't wait to work to develop it! TFA has some exciting times ahead, and we hope you'll stick with us!

While the change in leadership got a little looked over, we wanted to give a special shoutout to PUSSYSLAYER69 , who has been doing an amazing job already as WindClan's new leader, and to ❀Maple❀ , WindClan's new deputy! Welcome to the team!

A special congratulations to ❤𝐿𝑜𝒶𝒻𝒪𝒻𝒟𝑒𝒶𝓉𝒽❤ and Turtlefoot being selected for RiverClan's medicine cat! And an extra special thank you to everyone else who auditioned; it was really amazing to see how invested a lot of members were in RC's high ranks! Much love.

A quick reminder that activity and participation gets awarded in The Forest Awakens! Members that actively come on, start roleplay and participate, are more likely to benefit from the surprises we have waiting right down the corner. It does well to come on even when there might not be a big event to catch your interest! A lot in TFA happens when folks are just online to have some fun and RP. And we, as staff, try to ensure you have fun as a result! In the coming weeks, there will be some rather interesting tidbits for active members to discover. Just as some insight into how we intend to keep running things!
