Experience: I've actually been the deputy in a brief RP called BrineClan that has since taken hiatus. They said if they ever want to restart they'd let me know, but as it stands, I'm still technically the Deputy there; it only had 10-15 members, but I definitely have a little experience!

Character Name: Olivefrost
Brief Overview: Olivefrost is a 34-moon old she-cat filled with a great sense of ambition and a logical way of thinking. She has mentored 2 apprentices, but they have both died of unknown causes. She feels empty and uses this to gain leverage when talking to or dealing with the other clans, often appearing as if she cares very little or even none at all. She is tactically smart and able-bodied, clever in conversations, and for lack of a better word, intimidating to those who do not know her on a personal level.
Personality: Postives: 1.) Careful and calculating in everything she does. She will not act on impulse. 2.) Negotiations are a talent of hers, and she always seems to be able to bring others around to her way of thinking. 3.) She is strong in spirit and for her clan or friends, she would never back down from any threat. 4.) She believes no one in the forest is any more important than the next cat, as, quote, "We are all going to fade eventually." To her, a kit's wants/needs are just as important as her leader's.

Negatives: 1.) Olivefrost comes off as cold and hardened to those she meets. One may think she doesn't care for anything. 2.) She tries to mask her emotions; her clanmates may sometimes mistake this for not caring about a topic whether good or bad. 3.) She can be very business-minded, which is to say, results are often more important than the costs needed for them. 4.) She often forgets the qualms one cat may have with another, but she redeems herself by making sure no argument goes unsolved.

Roleplaying Sample: (ooc: I chose sample two! Please note, I RP'd for other cats for this sake only, simply to help move it along. enjoy! )
The air was thick and the situation was tense. Olivefrost stood outside Duskstar's undergrown den, preparing herself by stretching her front and back legs, and twisting around, making sure no muscle was left stressed. She looked back at the sick leader, laying prone in his den. Duskstar was sick without leave on Cloverstep's orders, and even now, as ShadowClan was threatened by ThunderClan's treacherous warriors, he was not allowed to leave the comfort of his den. "Duskstar," she began, her voice gentle and quiet, in comparison to the scurry and scuttle outside, "Do you have any special requests of me?"
The leader, still and solemn, shook his head gently, 'No.'
Olivefrost nodded. "I see. I will protect us tonight, in your honor." She aptly backed out of the den, not looking back at the leader's sick appearance, and quickly dashed towards the leader's Highrock. A young Elmkit, unaware of the situation's fiery urgency, sat worried by the base of the great stone. Olivefrost shot her a glance, before beginning, "Elm. It's not safe out here. I want you to go Cloverstep's den and take shelter there. And if," she began to say, hoping not to scare the young kit, "If any cat threatens you, cry that you are her apprentice."
Without checking the kit's approval, she licked the kit's head and nudged it in the direction of Cloverstep's den. Within two hops she took her place on the great, ancient stone, giving her a view of the entire clan. "StarClan," she began, "Guide us." She swallowed and thought of what Vulturestar or Duskstar would've done. Closing her eyes, she reassured herself as the only line of coordination and defense ShadowClan had. Opening her eyes, she spoke, "Attention!" Her words were loud and unfiltered, and most every cat stopped and stared at her with impatient eyes. "Every cat who is old enough to fight, gather around the Highrock. Hurry. Time is our enemy." As the cats gathered around her, some queens with nervous, trembling kits, and others calmer, able-bodied warriors, she saw one thing alike in them all: determination. "As you know, ThunderClan is on their way to our camp right now. Duskstar is ill," she swallowed, "And as such, I am in charge from this point onwards."
A voice, one who's sound escaped before Olivefrost could identify who said it, cried out, "Are you serious? We need him. He was at the battle. We can't trust that you know what you're doing!"
Olivefrost stared into the crowd with a look that would shatter frozen rivers. "If you do not trust me, trust your clanmates to trust me. But to disobey me now is to disobey StarClan, your leader, and your own safety."
Silence reeked through the cold camp for a moment. Olivefrost stared at each cat for a second each, letting each one feel her tone. "Does anyone else have any comments? No?"
Silence once more. "We have a clan to protect. Apparently, ThunderClan is unable to let bygones be bygones, and are returning to enact revenge. I need - no, /we/ need - our strongest to work together with the weakest. Thicketheart, where are you?"
The tabby warrior meowed. "Here."
"Good of you to take this seriously. You, and all of our Queens, will protect the nursery at any cost. Do not let anyone in or out that you don't know." She watched the tabby tom nod. /Good of him to accept so easily./ "All apprentices who are above the age of 10 moons, you will stand with your mentors and I to fight any cat who dare enter our camp. All apprentices under this age, you will stand guard at Duskstar's den. Do the each of you," she bellowed to the cats who stood before her, young and wide-eyed, "Believe you can alert Duskstar to danger should he become a target?" /Duskstar is sick, not asleep. If he has to defend himself, he will, no matter what Cloverstep says.../
The kits answered with excited and nervous mews, each bobbing their heads up and down in utter dutifulness. It warmed her heart to see to see that these cats where the future of ShadowClan. "Excellent. Are we going to let some angry nobodies injure our loved ones in the name of revenge?!" She yowled, catching the whole of every cat's attention. A large, murmuring, "No!" spread throughout camp. "And are we going to show them not to pick fights with a clan when their leader is new, sick, and weakened?!" Once again, the murmur exacted, "No!"
"Then tonight, we will defend our clan! Our sick! Our healthy! Our young and old! We will not allow these mouse-brains to make fools of us! We must send them home with their tails between their legs!" Olivefrost shouted, for the entire clan to hear, letting herself be washed by the many returned yowls of agreement. Her clan was riled together, and now they would work together to defeat the foe.
As silence fell upon the camp once more, the deputy's ears pricked to the left. /A snapped twig./ "They are close. Everyone! Prepare yourselves. Fight as if your lives depend on it!" She growled and eyed over the tense, ready groups of cats before her, and she couldn't be prouder. "We don't know how many they will bring," she muttered, staring at the clear, glistening night sky above her, "But we do know many we will defeat. All of them." <<

Character Name: Flinthawk

Brief Overview: Flinthawk is a laid back tom for the most part, he only has a few buttons to push but if pressed he like a completely different cat. He doesn't trust easy but once you gain it you have it for life. Flinthawk is a strong believer of following the warrior code and find that the best way to make decisions on the other clans is based on it.

Roleplaying Sample:

PROMPT ONE: Duskstar is out on patrol, and you are left in charge of camp in his stead. An argument between your clanmates ensues, and a fight breaks out. What will you do?

"I would be in the elder's den before Duskstar even starts thinking about your warrior name." A young silver bengal tom meowed with a superior tone, his blue eyes shining with amusement and arrogances as he watched the way they made his denmate react.

Just a couple foxlengths away another apprentice, this one a black and brown tom, stood bristling, his long fur making him look a lot bigger than what he was. His claws were flexing in the ground as if he could barely keep himself from leaping on the slightly older silver tom. "Well good thing you're already old!" He spat, tail lashing.


"Old?" The silver bengal mewed in surprise before narrowing his eyes, "If I'm so old then you should listen to your elders and run back to the nursery /Russetkit/." He taunted, "And stop getting under a real warrior's paws." He added smoothly, flicking his tail in a clear dismissal to send the blackish brown tom away.


That small gesture seem to be the last straw for the younger apprentice, with a screech of rage the tom leaped on bengal with a wild look in his eyes. A startled yelp escaped the bengal as claws dug into his pelt, but a heartbeat later a snarl escaped his own throat and he twisted to crush the black tom under his weight.


The screeching and yowling from the camp clearing was loud enough to wake up Thunderclan from the other side of the thunderpath. A few worried mews were mixed with chuckles and a couple of cheers as a few of the younger warriors picked an apprentice to egg on.

From the warrior den, a gray brown tabby pushed his way out from under the brambles, his green eyes darting around camp, half expecting another clan to be bursting from the camp's tunnel. Instead, the only movement he could find was of two apprentices, screeching about something or another in a confusing blur of fur and claws. It was difficult to make out their words with both of them trying to talk around a mouth full of fur.


"Stop!" The gray warrior barked before storming over to the two apprentice and plucking the blackish one away and dropping him away from the pile of silver fur that was still spitting angrily in their direction. "What's going on here? You know Cloverstep is already running low on herbs, we don't need to be wasting what little we have on mousebrain apprentices." The tabby warrior snarled, blocking an aggressive step forward from the blackish apprentice.


"Explain Russetpaw." The tabby mewed nudging the blackish apprentice, but he only got an angry glare in return. The gray tabby raised a brow as he waited for Russetpaw's reply but he only directed his angry glare to his paws. "You want to add something Stormpaw?" One ear rotated toward the other apprentice.


"We were just talking Flinthawk." Stormpaw mewed, licking at his chest to avoid looking at the older tom.


Flinthawk closed his eyes, praying to StarClan for patience for these two apprentices. If it wasn't one thing it was another. "Both of you will be taking over apprentice duties, alone." Flinthawk mewed sternly, "And thanks to you our other apprentices will be able to focus on their hunting and battling while you two are cleaning out bedding and checking for ticks." He could see a look of horror cross Stormpaw's face, Russetpaw was harder to read but he didn't seem any happier about the sentence.


"For how long?" Stormpaw asked, jumping to his paws with a mew of distress.


"Until you both learn how to respect your clanmates." The deputy mewed with a lash of his tail. "I'm sure the elders will be more than happy to put you to work. Go, I'll speak to your mentors soon." He finished, dismissing the two to their new duties, he was sure Russetpaw's mentor was out on patrol but Stormpaw's had heard the whole thing and only nodded to the deputy in resignation. In all fairness Minnowfoot had warned the new mentor about Stormpaw, as for Russetpaw, Flinthawk would be sure to check in on him more often in the future.
