[attr="class","bsbody"]If you can believe it, The Forest Awakens is now four months old and still going strong! However, now that we've settled more into our status as a larger Warriors roleplay, with that status comes potential mistakes, problems, and other underlying insecurities that your staff don't want to fester. After some discussion, it was quickly decided that it would be a brilliant idea to do the easiest thing in the world when it comes to figuring out how we're doing. When we look at member counts, the number of people online a night, and the amount of events we have, etc., it's easy to feel like we're doing a good job, but we also recognize that there might be some within the roleplay who don't feel this way! We wanted to provide an anonymous method of providing feedback so that members, regardless of their status, could feel safe in sharing their honest opinions. So, without further ado, here is our anonymous feedback survey!
Do we have to fill this out?
I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. How do I express a negative opinion without worrying about how it sounds?
Who's looking at this, again?
Is anything even going to be done, and why is this even necessary again?
What if I don't want my response to be anonymous, and would like to speak to a staff member about my answers?
All in all, if you choose to participate, do take it seriously, and give us some thoughtful feedback! We want to make sure we're still creating the TFA that we envisioned upon its creation, and the one you envisioned when you joined. Thank you guys so much, and happy roleplaying! Look out later this week for another Herald.
>> SURVEY <<
Do we have to fill this out?
Not at all! This is not a mandatory survey, and we know that it can be a little too boring for some folks to feel invested in it. That's okay! We're not going to force anyone to take it, but please remember that if you don't speak up, then we don't know what to fix! So please take this chance if you want to tell us that you think we're doing something wrong, or that we should change something. All because you may think something is clearly not right, doesn't mean that we do!
I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. How do I express a negative opinion without worrying about how it sounds?
This is one of the main reasons, first of all, that we wanted this survey to be anonymous. So please don't think that staff will start a witch hunt the moment we hear feedback that isn't positive. The fact of the matter is, we know that we're not perfect, but we're trying! All in all, just remember that we're human too, and any feedback that's too insulting or passive-aggressive or just seems outright trolling won't be taken seriously. Try to keep your concerns in a halfway constructive light, and don't just take the opportunity to rag on someone without offering what your idea of a solution might be, if you have one.
Who's looking at this, again?
While we're not going to name any particular names, just in case, please be assured that this survey is being seen by only a select number of staff. If you have any issues with someone in particular, you may voice them in a respectful and calm manner.
Is anything even going to be done, and why is this even necessary again?
Like mentioned above, it's easy for us as a staff to settle into a feeling of complacency. We don't want that to happen here, however, and want TFA to continue to be a member-friendly, member-oriented community. We need these occasional checks to make sure that what we might think is a decent job actually is a decent job. In terms of whether or not anything will be done, we're going to do our absolute best to change what we can in terms of making sure we're doing what members want. We can't promise that ALL suggested changes will be made, but we'll do what we can! TFA means just as much to us as it does to you, and rest assured that staff is going to take this seriously.
What if I don't want my response to be anonymous, and would like to speak to a staff member about my answers?
If that is the case, please feel free to notify Badge via personal message here on the site, or Discord, about your responses. I know what questions are on the survey, and want to help you with whatever I can! So, please, feel free to message me if you want to have a personal talk about your responses.
All in all, if you choose to participate, do take it seriously, and give us some thoughtful feedback! We want to make sure we're still creating the TFA that we envisioned upon its creation, and the one you envisioned when you joined. Thank you guys so much, and happy roleplaying!
